Hello everyone!
This is officially my last entry from Lake Louise! I am very sad about this, I have falen in love with the scenery, with true winter, and I'm even going to miss my job. So much is changing in sucha short time. The next time I update this, I should be in Portland. Assuming all goes well at the border, of course. I'm nervous about this, as I'm sure most foreign students are. I do have my paperwork in order, but if you could say a little prayer for me, it would be greatly appreciated.
Tomorrow is the big day. Today Ty is driving to Calgary to pick up U-Haul. Can you believe the closest international U-Haul is 2 and 1/2 hours away? There were soem complications with U-Haul though. They had us booked inf ro the wrogn day and may not be able to get the hitch attached to our car today. I guess that's just the troubles of travelling. Here's hoping though!
Then, packing. Well, finishing packing anyway. And the morning of the 3rd, we say goodbye to this beautiful place and come out to the rainy wonderland of Vancouver. I look forward to seeing my lovely family and having avery belated Christmas.
Keep an eye out for my first post from Portland - I will finish up my Lake Louise pictures and then get started on my brand new city that I will call home. I hear it is a beautiful city, though the idea of many people crowded together like that scares me a little since I have spent so much time in the wilderness, or the booneys, as some people like to call it.
No pictures today, I'm using my work computer, so sorry. I hope to hear from you all soon!
