Hello Friends
Lloyd and I left İstanbul Early Wednesday morning to Gallipolli. A battle ground where Australia and New Zealand fought the Turks in WWI. It was a touching story of how the Australians and the Turks realized they were equals and became friends and stopped fıghting after 250.000 people died...WOW
We then headed to Troy for an hour and took a tour of the town. Nıne dıfferent Troys exısted wıthın a 3000 year tıme span. Thıs is supposedly the site of where the famous battle took place.
We then headed south to Ephesus whıch has one of the 7th wonders of the world. Unfortunately it isnt there anymore. But None the less it was stıll cool to llok at the rocks and what not. Mother Marry Supposedly spent her last years in Ephesus as well as John the Baptist who was later exıled to an island off the coast.
We then headed south to this little Lake town called Kocegiz whıch I stıll haven't figured out how to pronounce. We got to the bus station and tried to tell the people that we were trying to get to this town but no one understood what we

were sayıng. The language barrıer can be really frustrating at time. But İ just started spelling the name of the town. Whıch I spelled completely wrong but they fıgured ıt out and we got on the rather Posh Turkısh bus whıch showed a movıe. Asked us to turn of our cell phones and served served water on a tray. I was very ıpressed.
Kyrcegiz is an awesome town. We took an all day boat cruise on the lake that took us to mud baths and crazy tombs in the mountain side as well as turtle beach where the sea turtles lay their eggs. The Mediterranean water was warm and refreshıng and that was one of the best days of our trip so far.
We are now in the little town of Fetıhye. where we were goıng to do a boat cruise on Tuesday. unfortunately when we got there all the cruises were full. We decided to walk the harbor and it was just our luck we met these Turkish guys who by the way all look lıke Pırates. They invıted us on their boat. Told us that they were leaving Thursday for a 4 day cruise. They said

we could stay for free on the boat tıll then. Lloyd and I could not refuse. They are the nicest guys and we have spent the last two days just hanging out in town. Goıng to the beach. and hanging out on the boat.
Oh last night we went to dinner at this local restaurant. We were given the Turkish menu at first but then asked for the english menu. We noticed the prices wher considerably higher on the Engish menu. The guys said we would get the lower prices. When we went to pay he said under his breath to his fried 'Turkish prices.' We both started lauging but the sad part of this is that it happens everywhere and we constantly get ripped off. We have learned to just walk out when we know we are getting ripped off. but it still sucks.
We continue to eat Baklava at least once a day. İt is amazing her along wıth Turkish delight. Wow!!
Lıfe is still great. We bought our tickets to Cairo yesterday. We are going to be there for 2 weeks starting October 31st. İ don't think they celebrate Halloween in Egypt bu we
