SLACK

Ok so ive been really slack and havnt written much for about a month.
alot has happened really as it does when you are overseas...
well easter time came and went without any fanfare due to the fact that Turkey is a muslim country and dont celebrate it - well not only do they not celebrate it i had to explain to rahmi what easter was...
Ash arrived in fethiye and we decided to celebrate easter together and did a very obvious chocolate hunt on easter sunday morning. on the monday i got to go on my first cruise - fethiye to olympos. the weather was perfect and i got to spend 4 days with 20 aussies and kiwis who were on their way to gallipoli for the dawn service. got to see some amazing sights along the way - but unfortunately didnt get to stop at butterfly valley. we saw the sunken city of kekova and simena castle and stayed a night at st nicholas island - the home of santa clause.
bit of a bugger tho because one of the guys that was on the boat jumped overboard one day and i got splashed - along with my digital camera - DEAD - gone - no more digital camera.
as i was considered the tour leader on th boats it was only fitting that they tried to throw me overboard. on the last day they succeeded, with me fully clothed. however it did take them about 10 mins and 3 of the boys to do it - i was determined to take one of them with me if i could. i failed.
After the boat cruise i have worked and worked - rahmi and i drove all the way up to cannakkale to go to the gallipoli dawn service for work. when we got there we realised that basically there were no people around and we couldnt get into the dawn service for some reason. so no happy jan.
When we returned on about the 27th it was back to work, and because there werent may tourists around this really didnt mean much. i basically am doing what i have always done here - not much...
