Day 9Austin Powers 3-point turn.
Day 9Bush family station wagon. We saw George senior and family on a beach in Lesvos.

Day 11Roaming with hoards of tourists through the ruins of Efesus.
Day 11Compulsary tourist photo - Annie on an ancient, communal loo. Now where can I buy a rug?
Day 11Forest entering the colliseum. Would have made a great gladiator - especially in lycra bike shorts.

Day 12Oya, the uber warm and friendly manager of the Homeros Pension. She poured water behınd us as we left to gıve us good luck on the road (see vıdeo). We got lost rıght afterwards.
Day 12Ahh...Starbucks. The best 7 USD frappucino in Turkey.
Day 12Sharing the road with typical Turkish traffic - trucks and tractors.
Day 13Wow! An actual Turksish bike tourist. He had been riding all over Turkey for the past 8 months. He no longer needs sun screen.
Day 14Klaus, our new German friend. He is heading up the coast. May the wind be at your back - and no dogs chase you since you so kindly gave us your can of pepper spray.

You guys are amazing!! I guess this great blog is a good excuse to procrastinate from a few more KMs for the day. :)
Can I volunteer as your personal bike valet? Looks like you're having a blast!! Well, at least I can live vicariously through the adventures, and don't have to get a biker-tan or sore butt while I'm at it. Keep it up!

Do you know that I read the title quickly, and thought you wrote, Hyenas are faster than Bikes and I thought "Oh, how unfortunate. Poor Forest. I guess Bob slowed him down too much."
You guys are amazing. Although it does look fun, it also looks exhausting. I bet StarBucks was a real oasis! Take care you two! Love ya!
I almost died when I saw the little boy magical bathroom photo!.. I felt it was more of a 35 cent experience however.Let me tell you that Turkey has some of the weirdest bathrooms ever.. there was one rest stop that was decorated with childrens dolls on every wall. i think it was near fetihye.. so be on the lookout.
