Lebanon for a month!
Making it back up to Rome from Lipari was a task. A whole day of travel, from morning to night. We checked into a hostel over night and went out for a few drinks to celebrate our last night in Italy.
The next day it was simply too hot to walk around so we napped a little and caught the train to Rome Fiumicino, where we boarded Olympic Airlines with a 3 hour stop over in Athens before we flew into Beirut at 3am. A mental note was added, never fly with Olympic Airlines agian!
Lebanon is beautiful. We hired a Chalet at St. Pauls on Tabarja beach Beach for a month with Daniel spending two weeks here. We timed it to be here for Rita & Elies wedding and peak summer!
Transport is hard to get around, i guess you have to know where you want to go to enjoy the sites Lebanon has to offer. This being my 4th Trip to Lebanon, new favourites activities just keep topping the list!Like:
-Smoking Nargelli while hanging at one of the many beach resorts Lebanon has to offer along its coast!
-Watching Miss Lebanon in LBC studios
-Drinking Scotch from the bottle in Batroun Nightclubs
-Shopping at Aishti in Downtown
-Drinking Iced Coffee's at Linas Cafe in Kaslik (very chic!)
-Haggling in Bourj Hammound with Armenian shoe sellers
-Shooting guns in the Northern Villages
-Catching bus's at Dora
It was such a lazy holiday! The Lebanese really know how to live. Drinking, eating, smoking and partying!
Byblos PortI just bought this gangsta outfit and thought id try it on in the old Byblos Ruins to bring about some authenticity
