Getting around in Jordan I haven't had a chance to visit Jerash but travelling between Aqaba, Petra and Wadi Rum is straightforward and quite safe. Choose between cheap public buses and minibuses for long distance connections. Alternatively, go for a taxi - it is often easy to find someone who is willing to share as Jordan is one of these countries where foreign visitors are usually headed to the same destinations
