The culture of Ancient Rome was highly affected by the games that the Roman empire created. They had many games and activities including: theatrical festivals, circus games, chariot racing, and gladiatorial games. All these games were used to entertain the Romans. The theatrical festivals were like shows that were used to entertain Romans and they were live performances that included comedy. The circus games were held in big circuses for people to fight for religious festivals, while people watched for entertainment. Chariot racing was used for entertainment because people watched horses race, and they had different teams for the different horses, so people supported their team. The most important of all the games and activities were the gladiatorial games. These games were used for gladiators to fight against each other for respect.
