1) A mountain that I climbed since I entered highschool is improving my grades. In middle school, I did not do that well in school when it came to grades. I did not do well because I really did not know how important it was to maintain good grades. Luckily, I got into UIC College Prep, instead of having to attend my neighborhood school. My main goal in high school was to get good grades because I learned that it is a neccessity to be successful. With the help of my peers and staff, I was able to maintain good grades. In conclusion, I have a 3.7 weighted and 3.0 unweighted, which shows how I went from a C average in elementary school to a B average in high school.
2) An intermediate mountain that I have to face before the final semester is over is my discipline. My discipline has been terrible since elementary school. I got away with all the bad things I did in elementary school because people just did not care. However, since I came to UIC, I have been trying to improve my discipline because of the strict rules I have to follow. I have been struggling since freshman year with discipline. I know my discipline is improving. As of right now, I have 9 detentions and if I get 12, I won't be able to graduate. I hae not got a detention in like the last 2 months. I have to try my best to not get 2 more detentions before the year in order to graduate.
3) The mountain I create for myself to climb is getting into my dream college. I do not even know what my dream college is. I just want to go to a school that is ranked highly in business and a school that will gie me tons of money, if they dont give me full tuition. I will get into this school by making sure that I maintain high grades this second semester since I let "senioritis" get to me firstt semester. My goal is to go to the college I want to go to.
