Availability or Book Situated some 70 km north-northeast from Aqaba, the Wadi Rum is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful desert landscapes in the world.
Wadi Rum Bedouin Camp lies in the very heart of the desert within the Wadi Rum Protected Area.
The camp is ideal for small groups and for those wanting to avoid the tourist crowd. It is located in a very scenic, hidden spot of the desert, and provides excellent opportunity to experience of the real desert world and enjoy traditional Bedouin hospitality. The black Bedouin tent is complemented with shower and flush toilet facilities. Additional campsites nearby are also available for those who prefer the privacy of their own tent.
The price of the accommodation includes traditional barbecue dinner and breakfast.
The camp is run by Obied Naser, an experienced Bedouin desert guide holding the licence of the Wadi Rum Protected Area Authority. He is also making jeep desert tours, ranging from 2-5 hours to full-day. Several-day trips and camel ride can also be arranged.
