Terviseks is Estonian for "cheers", something you'll be saying a lot here in Tartu, where the students always like to party. We are located in the middle of the Old Town, close to everything. Our lounge has a hookah, guitar, books, beanbags, and sound system. We also have a fully equipped kitchen.

Tartu is Estonia's university town, home to tens of thousands of students. It has a beautiful old town, a vibrant atmosphere, plenty of pumping bars and clubs, great second-hand shops, and a bunch of quirky museums.
Tartu is located between Tallinn and Riga, with regular buses to both. Our hostel is just a short walk from the bus station. We are in a large apartment on the third floor of a building in the very heart of Tartu's old town. We're a block away from Raekoja Plats (town hall square), across the park from the river, a block from the main shopping center, and close to just about everything else.
We opened in January 2008 and are the only backpacker-style hostel in Tartu. We have two dorms, one with ten beds and another with six, fitted with new bunks and bedding. Our comfortable living room is the perfect place to chill-out or party, depending on the occasion. Our kitchen is equipped with everything you need to cook a good meal.
Hostel Terviseks is run by friendly young folk who can take you to the best bars and clubs in town, and help point you in the right direction whatever your questions. We don't have a night curfew and aren't too fussy about check-out time.
