Charmed by Island life, we have crossed the bridge and chosen a path. Years of backpacking travel experience from both sides of the desk culminates in the ideal small hostel to fit the ideal small island. Inside the picturesque birthplace of Canada, an immaculate concept is borne.

Affordable accommodation needs not be institutional, or impersonal. We have invested in quality, because your hostel is also our home. Original hardwood floors, a cherry banister, bay windows, modern plumbing upgrades, and fresh locally baked goods are included daily for breakfast in our comforting country kitchen.

Relax after a day of touring on our leather sofas, perhaps watching one of our many DVDÂ’s on our LCD TV over the fireplace. Or enjoy a beverage in the evening on our large deck, along with some fresh island produce. Just steps away, our recreation room features a custom made billiard table, affordable flat panel internet stations, book exchange, lounge chairs, and a stereo to plug your music into, or you may listen to our extensive collection of vintage vinyl. Of course, we also offer discounts with local operators, friendly, accommodating and respectful staff, a brand new sprinkler system for your safety and comfort, forward reservations, beverages, free parking, plus work for stay programs.

We have single sex as well as co-ed dormitory rooms, private and family rooms are also available on a limited basis, book early to avoid disappointment. If you are looking for a private room and cannot find it online, please contact us directly by e-mail or telephone.

We have retained the character and charm of our downtown vintage home, but have upgraded for comfort, safety and ambiance.
