Activities that can be enjoyed in the local area include:
-snow activities (skiing, snow boarding, heli-skiing, snowmobiling)
-camping, fishing and hiking, horse riding
-Water-way tours, white water rafting

For nature observers, the farm is a wonderful location for bird watchers; or drop in to the nearby Wolf Habitat where you may observe wolves in their natural surroundings.

The hostel also has a beautiful organic garden open from June till September.

Applewood Farm Hostel is a quaint pre-fab cottage set back from the highway but with a spectacular view of the Rockies and the Columbia River......
