I live in Beijing and I agree your coments:) If you want to visit Guilin(in Guang xi province),I recommend you make your trip during march to September.The scene there are most beautiful at that time.

I think Jiu zhai gou(Nine village valley) is a fairy land in China. The water there are so beautiful! But after the Earthquake in Sichuan (5 12) this scenic will closed for some time.
