Any help and info would be greatly appreciated. | Mell Mel Fla Post Count: 2723 Msg: #2 91 days ago, April 25th 2008 | Hello Jason :) | In some places it can get you quite a lot. A basic backpacking budget would be 3 to 60 Euros per day, depending on where in the world you are. Amongst your affordable choices would be almost a year in South East Asia or almost year in India if you have 6K Euros. Do you have any ideas about where you would like to go? The following thread may interest you and give you some ideas. South/Central America is also a good place to stretch your dollar, and even some places in Eastern/Central Europe that are not yet on the Euro might be good options. It really depends on what you are looking to do, see, experience etc. Oh I'm from the US so I'm thinking in terms of USD, but I just re-read Mel's post and if you have 6K Euro, you're even in better shape!!
