After six seasons working in the french alps, (les arcs and meribel) im hoping to spend a month this summer in Chile skiing.

I would rather do the hostel thing in oppose to staying or touring with a large company.

Just looking for some general advice, thanks in advance.

Heya

I'm out in El Colorado at the moment, about 40k from Santiago. Its really nice here, iv put a few photos up on my blog but not much so far. Theres the 3 valleys so theres a lot more to do than in most of the chilean resorts. Plus in El Colorado theres a pretty big park (www.elcoloradopark.cl) and another in Valle Nevado and La Parva (which make up the 3 valleys). Im staying with a guy named Karl (kgsnow@gmail.com) in slopeside accommodation for the whole season. He does packages or just a bed if thats all you need. his site is www.3valleyschile.com

Any questions just ask! We have internet here in the appartment so i can help you out!
