hi, croatia is especially romantic country. no lot of parties there.... beatiful is makarska and sorroundings, hvar island is fantastic, mljet is fantastic. if you wanna half romatic / half funny - try makarska. in the croatia is best that wherever you go it is wonderful!

bye and have a nice trip!

best parties are on islands Hvar and Pag (Ibiza like fun). If You prefer romantic and cultural holiday, Dubrovnik could be option too.
enjoy in Croatia

hmmm, dubrovnik and hvar is possible in 5 days, but pag is in the northern part... there are no direct ferries from dubrovnik to hvar, but maybe good option should be split + hvar ( ferry ïn one way 2 hours ). another option is dubrovnik + korcula - also very beatiful town and island.

do you mean departure from croatia from dubrovnik or zagreb? sorry, my english is not ideal... if you mean 2 split + 2 hvar and then departure from zagreb or dubrovnik, so i prefer dubrovnik. croatia is beatifull country and worth for more days, if you have possibility to stay longer, you should do it. in zagreb you will see inland croatia and it is good to see, too. zagreb has different architecture than dalmatian towns, zagreb is more central european. ok, if i will have 5 days in croatia and if i will have air ticket to / from split i would like to do following: arrival to split - short sights in split, by ferry to hvar ( stari grad or hvar town ), next two days relax on hvar and then continue by hitch hike or by bus ( there are no many connections ! ) through whole island ( nice views ! ) to sucuraj - lazy fishermanns village then by ferry to mainland ( drvenik ) and continue to makarska here overnight and last day arrival to split, again short sightseeings and on the evening flight away. it is very busy 5 days, but i think worth it see all it. dou you have already some air ticket? myybe another interesting option for you could be stay just in dubrovnik + one day trip to cavtat + one day trip to mostar in hercegovina¨. sights and party in dubrovnik, nature in cavtat, culture in mostar?
