We think we've decided on the Dubrovnik area but want advice on where is best to stay? We want somewhere where there is a nice beachy area to sit and relax in the day, and with a choice of cafes/bars. We aren't really for busy nightlife but it would be nice if there were a few places to sit and drink at night. | I was looking at Cavtat as the best choice but it seems that there isn't really a beach there at all? Would we be better off in Plat or Mlini, or do these places lack the amenities that Cavtat offers? We don't want to hire a car so we will be relying on walking to places and getting the bus/boat.
