Hi,

I'm travelling to Spain 5th May staying in Alicante, we have a villa for the first 9 days of a 14 day holiday & I'm having trouble deciding where to go for the remaining days...hoping someone can help.

I'm not scared of using public transport as I'm trying to keep costs down and I've already visited Madrid & Barcelona.

Many thanks

Hello BryonyBear :)

What about letting it depend on availability of flight and train bargains.
That is what I do. Money is generally an issue for me so this method in particular works well.

Hi there...

Yeah I'm all up for that & found cheap cheap flights to Casablanca Morocco from Madrid...only problem we found then was the price of getting back to the UK from Morocco. It's the first time I've got a 1 way ticket anywhere & I'm panicing a bit about getting back from wherever we end up...

I'm also concerned about finding somewhere to stay....(I'm a bit neurotic...ha)

Certainly buy them in advance Bryony. Leaving the buying until last minute can make it expensive. I generally buy mine 3 months or more in advance.
You could start searching on the internet now for all your tickets.
Maybe somebody here knows of an airline which offers cheap flights and special offers for the destination you want to get to. If so would you post them here.

For a start you could try Search Engine to Find Cheap Flights
It is a search engine I use to find and buy a lot of my flights. Click on the US flag to change it to English language.

Also search for other places in Morocco you can fly out from. Sometimes the flights to and from heavily touristed places cost more then if you just fly into and out from the capital of the country.

I would definitely try to check out Granada or Cordoba. Those were two of my favorite places!

Hi..

We've been looking that way....found Almunecar, the micro-climate is appealing & it doesn't look as touristy.

Bryony.
