I realize that six days isn’t much, but I am planning on return to NZ early next year and this excursion can serve as an appetizer prior to the feast. | Any ideas for two swashbuckling, highly-caffeinated individuals with motorized transportation who are attempting the “carpe diem”/suck the marrow out of life thing in a week in NZ? It’s kinda like Thelma and Louise, only without the criminal aspect. Jo Trouble Jo McCarthy Post Count: 1188 Msg: #2 159 days ago, April 1st 2008 | Hi Joe, | Welcome to TravelBlog. Ok, I'm reading 'highly-caffeinated individuals' and 'suck the marrow out of life thing' to mean you're not adverse to adventure sports. While Queenstown in the South Island is the 'adventure sports capital of the world' if you're planning on relying only on that motorised transport (and that motor is inside a car not a plane), then I'd suggest staying in the upper North Island so you're not spending all your time on the road.
