Ive been to London before but he hasn\'t and neither of us have been to Dublin. Does anyone have any suggestions of cool things to do while in either city? We\'re definitely on a budget but up for anything. | suzannej suzanne Johnston Post Count: 1 Msg: #2 98 days ago, March 30th 2008 | Hi there, | So I don't know whether you are aware but Dublin has become quite a expensive city in last few years due to the booming econmy there. There is a cool tour called Splash Tours it gives a quirky history of dublin and you travel aroung on a viking boat I am from dublin and i though it was pretty cool.Also there is loads of museums most of them a free but i like the national history museum plus its free.Check out the gravity bar in Guinness factory on south James gate and have a black one.If you like going out clubing Temple Bar is he place to go but very few Irish people go here I prefer georges street and wexford street as they are more alterntive and more band scene.Dublin has a nightlife almost every day of the week and there is always a gig somewhere also check out the bar Sin a its on the quays near the milnenium bridge and attracts all sorts. Cheap place toeat is Cornocopia on wicklow street veg/veg but amazing food on a tight budget. There are always special lunch menus for dinnear so check them out all around the city. hope this is of some help  ashleyrae ashley wright Post Count: 21 Msg: #3 97 days ago, March 30th 2008 | When i was in London, i went to the theatre and saw Lion King (outside the theatre there is usually and i also did the tour of Madam Tussuad's wax museum. Both were very enjoyable. I stayed at Bayswater Inn (budget hotel) and it was in walking distance of Hyde Park which was good for a morning walk.
