| Wondering if I am eleigible for a British passport? In desperate need for one, anyway. | |||||||||||||||
Ellj Laurah Lithgow Post Count: 1 Msg: #1 131 days ago, March 16th 2008 | I have dual citizenship with Australia and Britain, and I've lived in Scotland since October "06, but I'm wondering if I need to have lived in the UK for a certain amount of time before I am eligible for a passport. I'm guessing, but not hoping, that there's probably a minimum of three years or so. I can't comment specifically on the Britain side of things, but I would have thought one of the automatic rights of citizenship was to travel internationally as a citizen of that country = to have a passport.
