Hi

I am living in Sydney. I want to do some diving in the Great Barrier Reef, most probably a liveaboard for 4-7 days. I want to see a wide range of species, especialy sharks. I want to dive with a recommended company, one with a good boat, small groups, good equipment, good qualified staff, reasonable rates.

Can anyone recommend a dive company/ and some good dives spots on th GB Reef? I am PADI certifyed.

Or should I take a trip to Figi, Cook Island etc...is the diving better there?

Thanks

Hi,

I've heard a lot about Mike Ball...but it seems they went in quite financial trouble lately...if anyone have more news, that would be welcome...seems they were the best...don't know if it's still hold.

Heard about the Naia in Fidji....

If you want more info for quality stuff...look at www.peterhuhges.com as well as the aggressor. They are 2 of the big players in liveaboard. For Africa, it's Tony Backhurst.

I'm on to Tubbataha next week...that should be a lot of fun...and than back to Palau for few days...Have fun!
