| We run a physio centre for disabled children and adults. We ahve a newly qualified Tanzanan physio full time but she needs volunteer physios and OT's to come and help and give her further training. | |||||||||

We have over 90 disabled and deaf people working inour craft workshop and amazing cafe run entirely by deaf people(chocolate cake ice cream fresh ground coffee...!!!). We have also set up a physiotherqpy service as there is nothing available to disabled people in our region of tanzania. We do village outreach for disabled children, mainly cerebral palsy and have seen fantastic results so far. we also have a room at our centre in ton where we see any disabled child for free or for a negligable cost if they can afford to pay. We have good links to orthopaedic surgeons and have already sent several children for corrective surgery. Our aim is to find the disabled children while they are still young enough for us to be able to amke a difference to them long term.
