Can anyone recommend where I should stay in NYC, which is good for getting about to these places? Or even better, can anyone recommend a hostel to stay in? Thanks ilchicag Liz Post Count: 46 Msg: #2 213 days ago, February 7th 2008 | I stayed at the Jazz hostels (http://www.jazzhostels.com) and loved it. I was at the one in Harlem, and it was a good middle ground, cheap, clean (despite the cold showers a nice hostel), and best yet VERY close to the subway. That's probably the best way of getting around without breaking the bank with cab fares. You can buy a ticket on the subway that is for multiple rides and you get a discount if you buy enough. I was there in May for about the same amount of time and got to see a ton of things. | getinvolved Graham Post Count: 16 Msg: #3 211 days ago, February 9th 2008 | Thanks, someone who shall name anonymous has booked the Continental Hostel. No idea what its like or anything about, and its too late now!!! | Thanks for the recommendation anyway. jmproenca Joao Proenca Post Count: 21 Msg: #4 206 days ago, February 14th 2008 | Milford Plaza, just some buildings amay from Times Square!, near metro! | Walkindude Steven Stone Post Count: 12 Msg: #5 204 days ago, February 16th 2008 | The Big Apple Hostel is right off Times Square!
