Am looking forward to 3 months internship in Australia between June and September but am currently having problem finding a placement for Engineering students. As well as advice on the region that would offer greater opportunities, nice weather and affordable accommodation. | denidax Deni and Dax Post Count: 64 Msg: #3 302 days ago, January 22nd 2008 | I have a question: we are Europeans (Spanish and German) and we want to cycle from NZ back to Europe, so we don't want to buy tickets in advance (like a RTW ticket), but do we need an exit ticket to get into NZ and Oz?? I heard that for europeans (except british) is quite difficult to get a visa (even turist visa) specially if you don't have an exit ticket that "assures" that you don't plan to stay longer...is that true?? thanks 4 your help!!! | Deni and Dax lukehodges Luke Hodges Post Count: 2 Msg: #4 301 days ago, January 22nd 2008 | That's a really good question. I am not 100% sure even though my gut feeling is that you wouldn't need an exit ticket for entry. I'd be tempted to contact these people if I was you. http://www.nationalvisas.com.au/ | Sorry I couldn't be more specific. Cheers Mariams30 Maria Post Count: 8 Msg: #5 300 days ago, January 23rd 2008 | Hi guys, | I´m a Spaniard living in Cairns, Australia. Getting an Aussie tourist visa is not hard at all (at least for Spaniards and I guess for Germans as well), providing you have $20 in your credit card. You only need to go to this site and apply for an ETA visa www.eta.immi.gov.au Hope it helps, Maria denidax Deni and Dax Post Count: 64 Msg: #6 300 days ago, January 23rd 2008 | I checked both web sites...it looks that it's easier than I thought...(panic!!!, hehehe!!!)...which is what normally happens when you travel, isn't it??...anyway...thank you both 4 your help...muchas gracias!!! | Mariams30 Maria Post Count: 8 Msg: #7 300 days ago, January 23rd 2008 | De nada!!! | If you come to Cairns, give us a shout.
