Things to do in Bolivia

Just wanting to make sure Im not missing out on some major attractions!

Hi

Ill be in Bolivia as part of my RTW trip in summer 2008, and I just want to get some info as to the things I shouldnt be missing.

As on my trip I am visiting over 20 countries, it cannot be an extremely detailed trip of Bolivia, so Im just looking to do the best bits.

So far the parts I really want to do is the Death Road bicycle tour and the Uyuni Salt Flats. Is there anything drastic I am missing?

Hey there I am from Bolivia. I recommend you to visit Rurrenabaque on the north of La Paz shared with Beni (daily "Amazonas" airline planes go there, it takes less than 1 hour) it is a wonderful and very popular place if you like jungle, river navigation or if you just want to get more oxygen than the one in Uyuni, jeje. There are diferent plans depending your stay (from 2 days to 1 month) and you get to visit diferent tropical spaces. you can spend the night in the middle of the nature and sleep in tents made of wood and of course you'll get a tourist guide. Beautiful place!
