Any recomendations for good hotels in VientianeAsia » Laos
| Does anyone have any good hotels they are aware of that would accomodate two adults and two kids, 10&6, in one room. Also does anyone have experience of being there for the Magha Puja? Does it get busy and do you need to pre-book hotels? | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

You never know what pervert is staying there.) | * "we cannot find any cheap hostels in laos......any one got any ideas????" How much do you want to spend per night on a hotel? Do you have a dollar figure in mind? Here is a name of a hotel that I used a few years ago. Not far from the U.S. Embassy and the people's market. CHALEUNXAY HOTEL, Khouvieng Road, Vientiane. Old telephone number 223407-222878, Fax 223529. Sample list of hotels for Vientiane: http://hotels.lonelyplanet.com/hotel/Laos-Vientiane-R2180.html You can find cheap places to stay in this city as well as expensive places. Mr. Yohann, who is a foreigner, has trained a cook, so the food prepared at their place is really superb, cost you around US$3 per meal. When we went there last year, me and parents stayed in one big room (cost us around US$12 per day, so its really cheap) with own private shower room. I've also noticed that aside from the aircon, the room has a fan, so it was really cool during night time...starting May 1, its rainy season in Cambodia, so better come early....have fun and visit all amazing temples in Siem Reap...if you plan to stay at Baca Villa, please extend my regards to Mr. Yohann ;o) | Number of Users: 7 | Number of Posts: 7
