We really want to go to the galapagos but we find it very expensive. How much have you paid all in all? What was included? Did you have any organized tours? All kind of feedback is appreciated | Thanks for your answer  Ali Ali Watters Post Count: 2733 Msg: #2 252 days ago, November 16th 2007 | Galapagos will be expensive: | ~$400 - dollars return flight $100 - tourist permit But - you can stay there sometime in hotels at around $15 a night - and travel from one island to another on ferries - cheaply. If you do want a tour they will be from $400 -> $1500 for upto 10 nights - sailing around the islands, and are really nice. You'll get the best prices from Quito - not the Galapagos! Shop around for last minute deals. When buying your ticket - even if you go for a tour - you don't have to arrive/leave on the tour dates - so you can take a few weeks or a month there and make the flights/permit more economical.
