I was hoping to find some promotional offers that the hotels give out (have to book in advance), all the ones i found online so far are expired. Your best bet to get hotel room comps is if you go sign up for a casino players club at a hotel and gamble frequently. If you MUST stay on the strip (I wouldn't have it any other way personally) then you'd probably get the cheapest rates with some of the older hotels like Riviera, Circus Circus, Sahara or Tropicana. But that's pretty much it.
