It was clean, centrally located to several nice squares, easy trolley access and a breakfast with some of the most amazing fruit juices. There's internet access in the lobby and the water in the showers was nice and hot. I didn't do the booking myself, so didn't check around to see what else was offered so I have no idea if the prices are competetive or anything like that, but my stay there was pleasant enough to warrant a recommendation. | knarco marco Post Count: 5 Msg: #3 353 days ago, September 20th 2007 | i have been in quito for a couple of days in february with my girlfriend. must people stay in the "new town" part of quito. there are most of the hotels/hostels in quito. most of the bars and clubs, banks, internetcafes etc.are located in the new town part as well. we stayed in the "colonial" part (old town) . we thought the colonial area is very nice! the hotel was called viena international (easy to find in the internet). it was o.k., pretty clean, cool location, nice people (spanish speaking!), very safe and fair priced. but nothing special, too (not realy a backbackers place.). you need to decide which in which part of town you want to stay. if you want to go out and party a lot the new town is probably the better deal..... | chads stephen chadbone Post Count: 8 Msg: #4 353 days ago, September 20th 2007 | sounds good will be in the secret garden in 3 weeks so looking forward to life in quito ! | Number of Users: 3 | Number of Posts: 4 | ||||||||||||
