Just come back from a week in Krakow, Poland. Amazing city, would recommend it and I don't understand why it isn't as popular as others! :)

I live in Cracow and what can I say - I completely agree with you! It's one of the most amazing cities not only in Europe, but in the world. In my opinion even a week is too little to visit the whole Cracow. Wawel Castle, Kazimierz (Jewish district), a great number of museums, a extraordinary market square, hundreds of churches, really worth to see. In Cracow, you can feel the spirit of the past, but you also meet thousands of students, as it is definitely an academic city.

When you decide to stay for a couple of days, there is a lot of cheap hostels to choose. Not so long ago my cousins visited the city and, as my flat is rather small, I booked for them a room in Aston Hostel - really nice and comfortable place, almost in the center of the city.
