We like to get out, walk and get a little off the beaten track. I'm not anticipating Oslo to be over touristed anyway...is this true? Thanks EdAm. | rose_1171 rose s Post Count: 6 Msg: #2 431 days ago, May 20th 2007 | Must see in Oslo: | Viking Ship Museum (Vikingskiphuset), Oslo Munch Museum (Munch-Museet), Oslo The Nobel Peace Center, Oslo Vigeland Museum, Oslo Oslo Cathedral (Oslo Domkirke), Oslo National Gallery (Nasjonalgalleriet), Oslo Sognsvann, Oslo Rose http://europe.koogra.com/oslo.htm Edam Edward Carroll & Amy Forde Post Count: 31 Msg: #3 430 days ago, May 21st 2007 | Thanks Rose! | Sofline Sofline Post Count: 4 Msg: #4 430 days ago, May 21st 2007 | The Wiking Ship Museum | The Folk Museum (lies next to the Wiking Ship Museum) The Kon Tiki Museum (lies close to the two otheres) Theese three museums lies on an island. You can take the bus here (bus number 30) from for example the main train station, but more fun and nicer is taking the ferry from the waterfront behind the city hall. The national Gallery The Vigeland Park Holmenkollen If the wheater is fine, a nice trip can be to one of the small islands in the Oslofjord. There's an island there full of rabbits. Oslo is not very touristed. Number of Users: 3 | Number of Posts: 4 | ||||||||||||
