It takes about 30 minutes from nong Khiaw to Muang Ngoi . | It's possible to obtain an entry visa at the Chong Mek / Vang Tao border crossing, just don't forget to take your 2 passport pics and you'll have to pay USD 30 for visa. You can get the visa there for sure.
