There you can do trekking in wild mountains, horseback riding along the beautiful valleys and rivers..., | Is there anybody who's thinking about going to Mongolia? Let's discuss about the best itineraries or adventures to spend in Mongolia. I'd share my experience. In april, it could be bit windy, especially in Gobi. But it will still be nice to travel to Mongolia. If there's any question regarding trip to Mongolia, I'm ready to give suggestions. | churchillseven på forældreorlov Post Count: 3 Msg: #4 433 days ago, April 29th 2007 | We will arrive in Ulaan Bator middle of June and stay untill end of June. We will stay in Ulaan Bator for some days and have booked a trip to Hustai national park, Khorgo Terkhiin national park, Kharkhorin, Saikhan Ovoo and the Gobi desert. Which temperatures should we expect (night and day) at that time of the year? Which clothing will be relevant? We travel with two kids (5 and 8 years old). Please share knowledge and experience. | Montraveler Tuvshin Post Count: 7 Msg: #5 419 days ago, May 13th 2007 | Hi? | In June, you can expect the temperatures more than 20 C degrees. Although it's warm enough in June, but sometimes, especially during the night, it can be little bit cool. So you should also bring some sweaters and raincoat. It's beautiful in the area of Khorgo Terkhiin Tsagaan Lake national park. There you can swim in the lake and witness the natural beauties of the area, from where you're going to KHarkhorin, the ancient capital city of Mongolia. The roads between the places you're going is not so good, so you should have some expectations about the road. It's kind of tough to sit in the car driving on that kind of road for long time. But I think it's more interesting than driving on black road. Saikhan Ovoo is very nice place which is located in the wide green steppe of Middle Gobi. And the Gobi desert is vast and empty place. But I hope you'll like Gobi desert. The Sand Dunes and Yoliin Am (Vulture Canyon) are the most beautiful and worth-seeing place in Gobi desert. Number of Users: 3 | Number of Posts: 5 | |||||||||||||
