I will be there for only a week, but would like to know where to stay, and what to do, and what is safe and not. The night life, the people, hotels and shopping. I am a young male, going to have fun and shop. Will see my GF who is there for now, but also want to do things on my own. Any suggestion on hotel, part of town would be best. Also night life, and shopping and places to eat.

If you know anyone who will house a student, which I am.. that would be great. I will pay, but sometimes it's easier when someone else shows you around. Kinda of like a guide..

Thanks in advance, hope this post helps me..

Check out the website of De Una Tours Colombia. They offer a great service with english-speaking guides, also for solo travellers. Maybe that's what you need?

When are you going to stay at. Are you going to the capital or other city? I might be able to find someone who can show you aroung. No cost at all. However, they won't be able to offer you stay. You will need to find a hotel.

Danyos777- Thanks for your tips!! I will be in Bogota May 3- May 12. I will most likely stay in North Bogota. I would like it if someone wanted to show me around. I will take care of them as well. If someone takes time to show me around, I will at leat take them out to eat and cover all costs. You can send me private message with contact info if you know anyone. Thanks again!!
