Our dates are completely flexible (hopefully sometime in the fall/winter of 07) and have been looking at Panama, both Caribbean and Pacific. We are in our late 20's, are pretty adventurous, and unfortunately have a fairly tight budget. We loooooooove the idea of a deserted beach, and definitely don't have to have a Ritz-Carlton. We love the outdoors and the idea of immersing ourselves into other cultures. Suggestions? Tips? Any would be appreciated. Check in the web, it's in the Caribbean coast. You can also go to Bocas del Toro, and may be cross to Costa Rica from there, they are located at the other extreme of the Caribbean coast.
