Robert C Robert Clifford Post Count: 1 Msg: #1 181 days ago, May 12th 2009 | Finally I have found time on my working schedule to plan a trip. This time I plan to go to Uzbekistan. Main point on my list is of course Samarkand with the majesty of its Registan and the mysterious Shakhi Zinda Necropolis. I also want to cover Khiva and Bukhara. Don’t think I would like to make the trip with a group, would rather an independent travel. Is this possible? Any advice from anyone who traveled to Uzbekistan alone would be very helpful. Any recommendations on accommodation and transport? | ChPuK Litvinov Evgeniy Post Count: 1 Msg: #2 164 days ago, May 28th 2009 | Hi. | Yes, you can do this. Just visit <snip> and chose a tour. About 12 days is needed to cover all three cities fully. However, if time is a problem than 7-10 days is also possible. Hotels range from 20 USD to 45-50 USD for a single room. Travel companies can provide you with tailored packages as well. <snip> Good luck! | [Edited: 13:01 - Mell ] Number of Users: 3 | Number of Posts: 3 | |||||||||||
