 FemkeWillemtravels Femke&Willem Post Count: 2 Msg: #1 38 weeks ago, March 28th 2009 | Hello, | I'm hoping someone can help me with the following question: I would like to go from Manila to Banaue by overnight bus on 6th april (leaving Sampacloc at 10pm) , I read on the internet and in the LP there is an over night bus with Auto Bus company. I've been trying to make reservations for that bus through internet, travel agencies in Negros and Bohol, but unfortunately nobody is able to help me. I found a few telephone numbers on the internet, but unfortunately they don't function <snip>). As I won't be arriving in Manila before 6th of April I won't be able to go the the Auto bus company overthere or to a travel Agency in Manila to make reservations there. Can anybody tell me how to make reservations for auto Bus from Manila to Banaue while being outside Manila? I have a philippine cellphone, if anybody has a cellphone number of a travel agency in Manila or the Auto Bus company I can text it. Thank you very much in advance!! Departure times around 10:30-10:45PM and arrives in Banaue around 6-7AM the next day. There are no advance reservations so you get seats as you pay. Bear in mind that some of these buses are freezingly cold (you can complain to no avail) so bring a jacket. During peak season | Autubus Transport (everyday 10:30PM) Espana, Manila Tel: <snip> Florida Transport (everyday 10:45PM Earnshaw Sr cor. Loyola, Espana, Manila (5 min walk from Autobus station Tel: <snip> Victory Liner (fri/sat/sun only 10:45PM) EDSA, Kamias Station Tel: <snip> There are no buses directly going to Banaue from Clark Airport in Pampanga. Best option is to head to Manila. Or if you are heading to Baguio first, there are night trips as well (non A/C) or a bus to Sagada then jeepney to Banaue. From Baguio: There are non-aircon buses that goes direct to Banaue. Travel time is 8 hours Usual departure times are 7PM everyday. You can find them usually waiting for passengers near Rizal Park. From Sagada: 1)Take a jeepney to Bontoc. Find the jeepney terminal going to Banaue. Last trip is 12:30-ish to 1PM. Travel Time : 3-4 hours. 2)Another option is to wait for those non-aircon buses going to Tabuk or Quirino. They stop in Banaue for those mandatory stopovers. 3) Some people hire a jeepney from Banaue to take them straight to Sagada and back. If you are lucky they might be in the mood to accommodate an additional passenger or two. Course there's a chance you might have to split up the fare and that could be more expensive than commuting. Reminder: If you are leaving for Manila via Banaue the same day, take the morning commute to Banaue. The roads are rough enough to warrant a vehicle breakdown when you least expect it. I got the active number and yes you can do the reservation but he advised me to go there personally if u are planning to travel around holyweek..Cause expect that a lot of travellers will take the chance to travel cause its a long holidays here in philippines.
