I think everbody can introduce his/her country to others and let others to know about your country's characterstics. If others want to go to ur country for tourism!!For example, I live in Taipei city, and I can tell others about the special traditions of Taiwanese...

I don't think this is the best place for this conversation... since it's in the "Asia Travel Forum". Maybe I'll move this to the Travel Forum, since it's more generalized. For now I'll leave it here till I figure it out.

I don't want to discourage conversation, so keep it coming people, just know I'll probably move it to a different area if we're going to cover many areas of the world. ;-)

Thanks

I live in the best of both worlds for me, and that is what matters! Puerto Vallarta, Mexico and San Francisco, CA. I have condos in both spots and enjoy each for their reasons: scenery, activites, friends. Anyone going, email me and I will try to assist!

Am not sure what the forum is about. From my understanding you are encouraging us to describe our countries to attract tourists. Well, am from Kenya in Africa. Am not good at exaggerating so I'll be very honest. Pack your bags and make a trip of your lifetime to Kenya. You don't need my help to even know where to go. The moment you land at the airport you will find tones of offers and booths of tourist destinations. But before you get back, cross the borders, its cheap, its fun and its worth you reading this!

I am living in Bucharest, the capital of Romania. Bucharest is not one of the most visited places of Romania, but in the last few years Bucharest became a destination for more and more foreign people who come here to study, work, invest or just to visit. A city that you love or hate from the first moment you step into it, Bucharest has its splendid face with its old buildings, nice people and cheaper prices and its ugly face, related to the remais of the communist period.

For those who are interesed in knowing what Bucharest has to offer, I found recently InfoBucharest.org. It is a useful guide of Bucharest, with plenty of information about places to visit and things to do.

Penang, Malaysia! I read someone's journal about the visit there. It is a beautiful island, shaped like a turtle, with a hilly backbone, 46 miles in circumference. The food there is legendary! Do visit it! (I don't live there anymore...)

I live in the United States, namely Los Angeles. However, I can help with quite a few cities I've been to (Miami, Washington D.C., Philadelphia, Las Vegas, etc.). I've also been to Beijing, Hong Kong, Macau, and Colombia. If you want to know anything about those places, just send me a message.
