What is best way to travel i.e. rent a car or get train/bus?? where can we find a budget double room for 2 or 3 nights? | The Travel Camel Shane Dallas Post Count: 1057 Msg: #2 38 weeks ago, March 21st 2009 | Hello Oisin | Accommodation during the 10 or so days of the run can be very tight, especially during the first weekend. If you arrive towards the end of the run (as I did) there is more space available. According to people I met there who stayed for the whole festival, the first weekend was bedlam in terms of finding even camping places, and the town much more vibrant and lively. I had a car with camping equipment and turned up without any booking. There was a temporary camp site establihed with lots of young people pitching tent and I just pulled up my car and did the same. I cannot recall paying anything for this site (it was almost 20 years ago!) but even if I did, it was such a small amount that I didn't really notice (or remember). Would be interested to read what people with more recent experience have to say. viedma Cristobal Viedma Post Count: 9 Msg: #3 34 weeks ago, April 21st 2009 | Check out this website for the bus: http://www.laburundesa.com/ | Number of Users: 3 | Number of Posts: 3 | |||||||||||
