I recently visited Bali and Gili Islands in December but Id like to stay away from this type of sun holiday again. Im interested in nature reserves and in partucular cultural aspects eg tribes, local way of life. In a 9/10 day trip taking into account that i will have to fly from Jakarta, what can i realistically do. I was thinking along the lines of sumatra, kimimantan or papua??
