could anyone please tell me that how i can travel the best parts of Paris with right type of transportation so that i can save a lot of my time and utilise it in my concluding tour to spain :)

If you can afford taxis, then that would certainly be the fastest and most efficient way to get around. Otherwise, the metro in Paris is extensive, so use that.

Mell is absolutely right.The best option to travel paris in a short time is to travel by taxi ,even better than metro.

Maybe better than a taxi, you have the Paris airport shuttle service. You can rent one for a few hours. And the price is fixed. No bad surprise.

The quickest way in my opinion is by RER. It's fast and you can go from one side of paris to another in 15 minutes, without paying extra money on taxis or car rentals. Check it out: http://ratp.fr/

Use the Metro or the RER, which has less stops.
Taxis are expensive and circulation can be awful depending on the hour or the day.
