| Nov/Dec is supposed to be in the wet season, how much does this affect the experience of travelling in Indonesia? | |||||||||

I've read that November onwards is the wet season and so was thinking of changing my plans and maybe starting off in Indonesia instead of finishing there, although this might mean my visits to other countries end up being in their wet seasons. Has anyone travelled in Indonesia in Nov/Dec before? Was the weather still good or would you recommend going at a different time of year if I could? The main thing I was planning on doing in Indonesia was lounging on the beach, surfing and lots of diving so any advice anyone could give me about that and how the weather would affect that would be much appreciated.
