Here is what we are looking for : * A decent internet connection (at least close to where we live) * A really quiet town or village to live in * An appartment to rent, or an hotel room with a table (to work!), budget * Close to a diving center, to take a PADI course Anybody have a clue to where we should head ? Thanks! Mell Mell Post Count: 13453 Msg: #2 334 days ago, December 9th 2008 | Hello Jean | I moved this to the Classifieds forum. I'd like to know what city fits me. | Thanks pPamela Pamela Joy Fuge Post Count: 85 Msg: #5 331 days ago, December 12th 2008 | Hi, | I would suggest Bali because that is the island with the really ideal internet connection and you can learn to dive on Bali. Another alternative would be Pulau Weh, north of Banda Aceh, but I am not so sure about the internet. You could contact the guys at Lumba Lumba Diving and ask them about the internet up there. Here is a report written by a guy on LP Thorn Tree Forum earlier this year about time spent on Pulau Weh. There's an eco-village here that you can rent. It is 36 kms from the town. Quiet and nice. If you have questions, please don't feel hesitate to ask!
