There will probably be some at the airport. Look out for a tourist office. If you dont find one at the airport there will likely be one at your hotel or hostel. Bring some layers of clothes. It can be cold especially in the evening but when the sun comes out during the day you might get warm walking around so would need something light to wear. What type of fun are you looking for? If you give more details about what types of things you like to do it will help others to give you information. What type of accomodation are you looking for? Hotels, hostels? You could also take a Lonely Planet guide for Rome with you. That has plenty of suggestions about things to do as well as information about accomodation, transport...... It costs around 30 Euros and is available in most bookshops around the world as well as on the interent. Our budget is 50/60 euros per night! Tourists tend to congregate on main squares and streets. | I dont know of any hotels because I always stay in hostels. I reccomed a hotel that is near the Termini station, is called Ambra Palace .. it is very comfortable and u can easily reach all famous attractions and not to forget, the shopping area.
