Hello Bloggers,

I\\\'d like to thank everyone who gave me advice on travelling, giving up a job, renting my house and my age etc, oh and looking for the father of my unborn(s) kids! I\\\'ve asked my boss for a year career break next September and it likely it will happen!! Yahoooooooooo. So very pleased, has taken a weight off my shoulders, just got to safe like hell now!!

Cheers Guys, happy travels

Congratulations! 😊

Be sure to keep us updated. Those who dare to do it(travel) are always encouraging for those who are procrastinating.

Hey Claire,

I read all the posts on the other thread, and I just wanted to say that I'm glad you've chosen to take a year off. I too volunteered in Peru (after teaching in Korea for a year), and now that I'm back in the "default world" I am struggling to settle. Societal pressures definitely make it difficult to "up and leave" and travel for an extended time. A year abroad will do you well!

Save as much as you can to make the trip as worth it as possible! Good luck and I hope you find yourself somewhere along the way. Just remember to be thankful everyday for everything in every way.

Life may or may not be beautiful,
