I have been there before but at a different time. what will the weather be like around that jan? i know its there summer but curious about the hot hot it will be. what should i pack for long time stay? im making a packing list but i feel like im missing something! any advice? tips? love the help! | cesare cesar Post Count: 13 Msg: #2 414 days ago, September 28th 2008 | Hi, I am fron Chile , living in Calgary AB, Canada.. May is already cold , very cold , different from Canada , it is a wet cold, easy to catch a cold, June and July almost the same, with heavy rain, cold and strong winds... it is better to travel to Chile in September to March,, better in February when it is summer with 30C plus. Jan it very HOT, march, also is good , beaches became empty because students are returning school and vacation season is over. If you go to south of Chile, I recomended my Chiloe Island, good seafood, people are very friendly , but be careful with your belongings,, lot of pickpockets in bus terminal and airports. any questions? just write to me.
