I was in Sarajevo a few months ago, its a beautiful city.

Currency - comparing the the Canadian dollar it was $1CAN - 1.3 BAM.

Transport is everywhere and very cheap.
All attractions are within walking distance, start at the Old Town and head towards the Museums.

The Old Town (Bascarsija) - beautiful and so much fun. Don't miss this.
Have some coffee, eat some burek, sirnica and zelenicia. Take a walk at nightfall.
You'll find mosques, churches and temples.
Gazi Husrev Bey Mosque.
The Serb Orthodox Cathedral.
Markale Market Place - Shelled in Feb 1994 and Aug 1995, claiming the life of 40 civilians. RIP.

Bosnian Historical Museum - has an exhibit of the siege of Sarajevo. Very interesting, to help you understand what occurred during the siege.

The Tunnel Museum - I heard this is a must see, unfortunately I did not have enough time to visit.

The National Library.

The National Museum- if you're interested in natural history and archeology.

Don't miss Sarajevo at night.

Oh and if you have time, grab a bus and check out Mostar and Medjugorje.
