We are going to Italy next May and I am looking for train schedules between Naples and Sorrento. I have looked on the TRENITALIA and Itailia Rail web pages but I cannot find anything. The Sorrento.com website says there are trains to Sorrento from Naples but I can't seem to find any trains. Thanks for any help

Hello Dave :)

I moved this to the Europe forum.

To get to Sorrento from Naples take the Circumvesuviana train

Hi Mell

Thanks, I thought is was strange that I didn't see it in the Italy forum. I found a site that lists the trains for Naples to Sorrento.

Use the Circumvesuviana train Line (Stazione Centrale), and you can stop at Herculaneum and/or Pompeii, before it runs on to Sorrento, starting point of the Amalfi Drive. Sorrento's Stazione Centrale doubles as the town's main bus terminal, so it's also a departure point for buses serving Amalfi Coast towns. Train fare for the Circumvesuviana Naples-to-Sorrento trip is 7,50 Euro. You can look at my profile and access my blog to see details and pictures.
