Weekend in Paris

Hi guys this is my first post on the forum so hoping i'll get some response atleast.

I'm in the process of planning a weekend trip to Paris for my girlfriend's birthday (it's a surprise).We're looking to fly out on the 26th September from any Scottish airport and return on the 28th.

I've never been to Paris before nor has she and looking at hundreds of websites everyone seems to think they are giving you the best deal.What i need help with is finding the cheapest flights and also a nice hotel quite close to the centre of Paris. I do have a budget but it's a reasonable one so that shouldn't be a problem.

Any help given is much appreciated,thanks in advance.

hello AWACS planning well in vacation is a good idea. i have some advise to "when traveling it is also important to know the food we eat".
